The Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office has classified the death of Shaw McLeroy as accidental after his body was recovered in a borrow pit near the Hansen Bridge on Monday, according to reporting by magicvalley.com.
Family members had reported McLeroy missing on Sunday. Authorities indicated that early Sunday morning, a vehicle struck the man. Deputies responded to the scene north of the bridge at approximately 10:37 a.m. Monday, where they discovered his remains.
The Sheriff’s Office confirmed the incident was ruled an accidental death. No further details regarding the circumstances of the collision or the condition of the vehicle were immediately released.
