Bannock County Opens Early Voting Tuesday Ahead of Election

Early in-person voting begins Tuesday in Bannock County as Idaho voters prepare for the November 3 general election. State law grants individual counties the authority to determine whether they offer early voting and when those periods commence.

Twin Falls County also opens its early voting locations on Tuesday. Other jurisdictions begin later; Ada, Bonneville, Canyon, and Kootenai counties will start accepting early ballots on October 19.

The early voting period concludes by 5 p.m. on October 30 across all participating Idaho counties. Voters who prefer to cast their ballots from home must request absentee ballots by the end of the day on October 23.

Not every jurisdiction in the state offers early voting. Some of Idaho’s 44 counties do not provide an early voting window but instead offer in-person absentee voting options for residents.
