The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office and Idaho Falls Fire Department will square off on the diamond Friday evening in the 15th annual Guns vs. Hoses charity softball game, with all proceeds benefiting Make-A-Wish Idaho.
The game takes place at Melaleuca Field in Idaho Falls. Gates open at 6 p.m., with first pitch at 7 p.m. on July 17th. Admission is by donation at the gate, with law enforcement officials suggesting $5 per person or $20 per family.
The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 8, representing the sheriff’s office, will face off against Idaho Falls firefighters in what has become an annual tradition of friendly competition in support of the wish-granting nonprofit.
